Lee H Kummer, Retired
Lee H. Kummer (Retired) practiced law in the City of Manitowoc from 1977 until his retirement from active practice in 2020.
Over the last fifteen years of his career, Attorney Kummer concentrated on representing individuals before the Social Security Administration in disability claims, as well as clients in family law matters. He successfully represented disabled individuals at hundreds of hearings before Administrative Law Judges, regularly appearing in Green Bay, Oshkosh, and Milwaukee, and serving clients throughout Northeast Wisconsin and beyond.
A Manitowoc native, Lee and his wife, Eileen, have raised five children. They have been active supporters of the parochial school system, including Roncalli Catholic High School and Silver Lake College of the Holy Family. Lee has served on the Manitowoc Common Council, as President of the Catholic Foundation for the Green Bay Diocese, and on the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Council.
An accomplished marathon runner, Lee has completed more than 60 marathons, including two Boston Marathons. He also helped organize the Maritime Marathon in Manitowoc and serves as Treasurer of the Friends of Mariners Trail.
